Miranda Radel

Fitness has always been about more than the gym for me. It’s about building the strength and confidence to fully show up for your life.

As an Air Force veteran, wife, mom, and lifelong athlete, I understand that life is busy and rarely goes according to plan. My approach is simple: focus on the fundamentals, work hard, stay consistent, and build strength that carries over into everyday life.

My background includes years of strength training, powerlifting, and athletic performance training. I love working with people who want more out of life and understand that being physically capable is part of making that happen.

I am a strength coach and powerlifter who strives to provide strategic, specific, and efficient strength training to lifters of all levels. I am a powerlifter who currently competes in the 82.5-90kg weight classes and my most recent competition bests are a 485lb/220kg squat, a 275lb/125kg bench, and 523lb/237.5kg deadlift as of April 2022.

I recently graduated from University of Idaho with a B.S. in Exercise Science, with an emphasis in Fitness, Health, and Human Performance. In addition to online powerlifting coaching, I spent my last year of school working with the University’s Strength and Conditioning program, where I gained the experience of programming for and training with 15 different sports teams in the weight room. Through this experience, I was able to work with a variety of athletes of different levels and work methodologically towards their sport-specific goals.

I recently moved to Mount Vernon where I found Northwest Barbell and aim to become a part of this great community. I look forward to using my experience and skills to pursue coaching and programming for lifters to reach their goals, as well as continuing my own powerlifting career.
